The International Policy Analysis unit prepares background documentation, analyses and research papers on issues relevant to the SNB. The place of work is Zurich.
Your role
- Preparing background documentation on international economic policy matters with a focus on the Swiss external sector and developing the SNB’s position in these areas;
- Conducting independent analysis, as well as writing and publishing research papers on external sector issues of relevance to the SNB;
- Advising bank management on all issues in this area of responsibility and preparation for international meetings.
Your profile
- Doctorate in economics, preferably with a focus on international macroeconomics;
- Research experience and strong interest in international macroeconomic issues;
- Outstanding analytical and editorial skills;
- Expertise in the application of statistical and econometric methods as well as experience in analysing large datasets;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, as well as very good German or French language skills.
